Rates

The rate, plainly.

$395 for a 55-minute session, weekly, over secure video.

What it holds in place

A small practice, and the room it makes.

The rate is what keeps the caseload small. That's the whole trade: fewer people, so there's room to think about your work between sessions, room to reach me when a week goes sideways, and the same slot held for you rather than whatever's left.

It also keeps your care off anyone else's file. Insurance requires a diagnosis and notes to justify payment; private pay doesn't. Nothing is submitted, so there's nothing to surface later.

Coaching

Outside New York, coaching is the way we can work together — non-clinical, forward-facing, $395 a session. Whether it's the right container is what the consult decides.

Scheduling

Your time, held for you.

Your slot is yours. Twenty-four hours' notice to move it, and inside that window the session is billed — but a small caseload can absorb a real life, and you should be out living one. When something comes up, tell me and we'll work it out.

Before you ask

Two questions worth answering here.

Can I use my out-of-network benefits?

Often, yes. A superbill is available on request, and many PPO plans reimburse 50–80% of the rate once your deductible is met. Worth knowing before you submit one: a superbill carries a diagnosis, which puts on file the record that private pay avoids. Whether that trade is worth making is yours to weigh.

How do I know if this is the right fit?

That's what the consult is for. Fifteen minutes by video, free: say what's going on, and you'll leave knowing whether this is the right room for it. If it isn't, I'll tell you who's better placed. Book the consult →
